1. ORDERS AND PAYMENTS

When you confirm a purchase through our website, you’re agreeing to provide accurate billing and delivery information so we can process your order properly.  All payments are handled through secure platforms․ Once the order is confirmed and dispatched, ownership of the product transfers to you.

2. Shipping & Delivery

We prepare and ship your orders with care and aim to meet the estimated delivery times shown at checkout. However, these are indicative, not guaranteed. For international shipments, any customs duties, taxes, or import fees that may apply are the responsibility of the customer.

Free shipping is not available in certain countries; this information will be displayed when you enter your delivery address during the checkout process.

We also want to inform you that, due to customs requirements in certain countries, we may request your VAT number for shipping.

3. Returns & Refunds

At The Orientalist, we care deeply about your experience. If something isn’t right with your order, whether it arrived damaged, incorrect, or simply wasn’t what you expected, we offer a straightforward return process, as long as certain conditions are met.

Eligibility for Returns

• You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

• To be eligible, items must be completely unused, unopened, and in their original, intact packaging.

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team via our website or email. Be sure to include:

• Your order number

• A brief explanation of the reason for your return

Return Shipping

• Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping returns.

• The returned product must arrive safely, in the same condition it was sent — sealed, unused, and well protected.

Refunds

Once the returned item has been inspected and approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

• Refunds are typically processed within 5 business days of receiving the return.

• Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
